Be afraid, be very afraid comrades as it is Fear The Rabbit Day. On this day we prepare our defences for attack from the evil Easter bunny.
The only way to defend yourself against this big eared, fluffy killing machine is to throw your Slabovian Eggs at him.
The Easter bunny has its origin in pre-Christian fertility lore. The Hare and the rabbit were considered the most fertile animals and served as symbols of the new life during the Spring season and the bringer of Fear to Slabovia.
The bunny as an Easter symbol seems to have its origins in Germany, where it was first mentioned in German writings in the 1500s. The first edible Easter bunnies were made in Germany during the early 1800s and were made of pastry and sugar. It was at this time that the West decided to capture the Easter Bunny and use him as a weapon against Slabovia.
They send this eveil Easter Bunny every Easter Sunday, which is the most important feast in the West’s Christian year. Christian’s believe that Jesus was resurrected from the dead two days after his crucifixion and celebrate this on Easter Sunday, two days after Good Friday.
Easter Sunday is not fixed to the calendar, a cunning plan by the west to fool our defences. But the Ministry of Information has discovered that Easter falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon on or after March 21st.
